This is a lovely piece of furniture, very well built. The only reason I gave it 3 stars only is the fact that the sideboard does not come fully assembled. The leg section still has to be assembled. As a 74 year old single lady I cannot do this. The wording M&S uses on their webpage is very misleading when it comes to assembly. They do not specify when part assembly is required. Would have never purchased the item had I known that I cannot use it right away. Have spend thousands of pounds on furniture for a new house. Next week another item will be delivered and assembled, I asked if this crew can put on the legs and was told NO. Very disappointing.

I took delivery of this a week or so ago. Like the previous reviewer I was disappointed that it wasn’t assembled (especially as I had emailed M&S to ask that specific question and was told it would be!) but the item itself is lovely – very pleased with it indeed.

Great quality, the reason for not scoring 5* due to assembling the legs which is extremely difficult while lifting the heavy weight furniture, not sure why this is fully assembled before the delivery or option for delivery staff could complete with additional charges?

The sideboard is easy to construct, just the legs to add. It is heavy and two people needed to stand it up. This was expected. The drawers and cupboards are spacious and i am delihhted with my purchase

This is a very sturdy sideboard, purchased for our living room, and is exactly as we thought it would be, seems to be very well made, but is very heavy and two people to move and unpack is essential!

Surprised by the quality of this unit, its perfect in our kitchen snug. Gives storage and display space. Yes the legs need to be screwed on but provided you’ve help in lifting the sideboard it’s easy enough. Delivery on time but couriers don’t dispose of packing. I’m very happy and delighted that this unit saved me £££s !!
