Looks smart, good size and width. Enough draw and shelf space.

Delivery was on time and assembly by the delivery men took less than an hour. Wardrobe is really well made, doors an excellent fit with gentle self-closing. Just one thing to be aware of: although the overall width is 90cm, because of the inset side panels the interior width is only 80cm. Not a problem for me but something to be aware of.

Beautiful quality, efficient team building the wardrobe, thank you

Great quality very solid wardrobe. After several attempts at getting assembled furniture up our awkward staircase we gave up. We didn’t want nasty flat pack. This came in 2 boxes (very large but they were fine to get up possibly the most tricky staircase ever!). The delivery men from the company M&S used were amazing. It did take some assembling and at one point there were 4 of us on the job but we’re all quite short! It looks amazing. Truly stunning wardrobe and worth every penny. Highly recommend this!

The wardrobe was fairly straightforward to assemble and I managed it by myself. It’s well made and solid, although not as good quality as the single Sonoma wardrobe I ordered over ten years ago. My single Sonoma wardrobe has more solid wood in it and the shelf is sturdier and fits better, the shelf in the double wardrobe moves about and could be longer to fit flush against the sides of the wardrobe. The delivery team also assembled the single wardrobe, a service which M&S no longer provide.
It’s a good quality wardrobe with a good sized bottom drawer and shelf, although I wouldn’t pay the full price for it having seen the difference between the old single Sonoma wardrobe and this one. Overall a good wardrobe which looks really nice and I’m pleased with it. I would give it more stars were it not for the decline in quality. This was also the fourth one I ordered. The first three wardrobes were badly damaged and the base of one wasn’t even joined and made properly. Gallery Direct were a nightmare to deal with trying to organise a replacement and collection of the damaged ones. I also feel that M&S let the customer down by using a courier rather than delivering themselves and assembling like they used to.

This is a lovely quality piece of furniture that I got to complement other Sonoma bedroom furtniture. Assembly was a bit of a pain, and it took two of us a while to get everything lined up (despite considering ourselves reasonably experienced with flatpack furtniture assembly). Getting the doors on was the biggest challenge, but a practice with one of the hinges prior to trying to get the door on really helped. I wouldn’t recommend anyone trying to do this single-handedly, due to the risk of damage. However, once assembled, it looks great and is very solid.

Having purchased several items in this range a few years ago and wanted some more pieces to match I was concerned that they might not, but they match a treat the packaging they arrived in was well over the top but I did appreciate it cannot fault the items I purchased

Bought to match other sonoma furniture which came assembled Heavy and impossible to assemble wardrobes with one person. I’m also not sure how I can dispose of the vast amount of cardboard in which packed. Once-wardrobes assembled good quality and solid.

I bought the Sonoma double wardrobe to supplement a Sonoma triple wardrobe that I had purchased from M&S several years ago, which I was very pleased with. I expected the double wardrobe would be as good as the triple wardrobe but I was disappointed. It is evident that it isn’t as good a quality as the triple wardrobe. It is apparent that measures have been taken to reduce cost at the expense of quality. Unlike the triple wardrobe, there is no closure strip on the door to seal the gap between the double doors when closed. Also, the door hinges and magnetic closures are not as good a quality as those that are fitted to the triple wardrobe.

These are well designed, well made wardrobes. It’s a two person job to assemble but not too difficult if you’re used to a little DIY. However, there were two delivery men, one stayed on the van while the other dragged the boxes across the drive to my door. Myself and my husband unpacked and carried the wardrobe parts upstairs and assembled them. We then realised there was a chip on both wardrobe doors (we had ordered two). This is extremely frustrating as we had exactly the same experience with the Sonoma TV stand we ordered last year. Whilst we don’t think the dragging caused the damage it does beg the question, how are they being handled before and whilst they’re being packed? We have kept the wardrobes as you can’t really notice the chips from a distance and we couldn’t face the hassle of returning and re ordering. This is not cheap furniture M&S you need better quality control!
